1. Who we are

Kognevo is a software and AI systems firm based in India. For privacy and data-principal requests, contact Grievance Officer Kalvinder Singh at privacy@kognevo.in. General enquiries: info@kognevo.in.

2. Section 5 itemisation — data categories

We collect the following personal data categories (not a generic "information you provide"):

• name
• email
• company name (optional)
• message / enquiry text
• IP address
• device / browser user-agent
• date and time of form submission

We do not collect phone number, payment card, government ID, GPS location, or device advertising ID on this website.

3. Named purposes

• name, email, company name, message — respond to consultation enquiries and follow up on a potential engagement
• name, email, message — process Data Principal rights and grievance requests
• IP address, device / browser user-agent, date and time — website security, abuse prevention, and availability logs

Lawful basis: consent (consultation form and Cookie preferences) and legitimate security of the website for IP address / user-agent logs. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for unrelated marketing.

4. Named third parties

We share personal data only with these named processors (not "trusted partners"):

• Supabase Inc. (database for contact and rights-request forms)
• Amazon Web Services / AWS (hosting infrastructure used by Supabase)
• Google Fonts / Google LLC (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com — font files only; form fields are not sent to Google)
• The web host that serves https://kognevo.in static files (HTML, CSS, JS)

Cross-border: enquiry records stored with Supabase Inc. on AWS may be processed in the United States. Font requests to Google LLC may be handled outside India. We do not use Razorpay, HubSpot, or advertising networks on this site.

5. Retention periods

• Consultation form records (name, email, company name, message): 24 months from last correspondence, then deleted
• Data Principal / grievance intake records: 24 months from the date we close the request, then deleted
• IP address and device / browser user-agent in server logs: 90 days, then deleted
• Cookie preference in localStorage: until you click Reject All, change Cookie preferences, or clear site data — otherwise 12 months, then the banner is shown again

If a legal claim is filed, we keep the specific records until the claim is closed, then delete them within 30 days. We do not retain data "as long as necessary" without these periods.

6. Your rights (Data Principal)

Section 11 of the DPDP Act requires all of: Access, Correct, Erase, Withdraw Consent, Nominate, and Grievance. You may:

• Access a summary of personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erase data that is no longer needed for the stated purpose
• Withdraw Consent at any time (Cookie preferences in the footer, or a rights request)
• Grievance redressal via our Grievance Officer
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights in the event of death or incapacity

Use the intake form on Data Principal Rights or email privacy@kognevo.in. We respond within 30 days.

8. Children
